News / On November 14, an educational assembly dedicated to the prevention of religious extremism was held at our school for students in grades 8–11.
The event was attended by Bagdagul Alkhodzhaeva—moderator and organizer from the Department of Social Development of the City of Kyzylorda—as well as theologian Bauyrzhan Nurdaulet from the Center for the Study of Religious Issues, Bakytzhamal Darbayeva—Deputy Director for Educational Affairs—and students.
During the event, the following topics were discussed:
• The concept of religious extremism and the danger it poses to society;
• Methods used to disseminate extremist ideology;
• Strategies for protecting oneself from radical content on the Internet;
• Organizations and activities prohibited under the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• The rights and duties of citizens.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the students were reminded that peace and harmony constitute the core values of our country.
