Artificial intelligence is the bedrock of our country’s innovative development and digital independence.

In accordance with the “Concept for the Development of Artificial Intelligence for 2024–2029,” a city-wide seminar was held at Secondary School No. 176. Organized by the Methodological Department of the Kyzylorda City Department of Education, the seminar focused on the theme: “DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN ENHANCING FUNCTIONAL LITERACY IN MATHEMATICS, PHYSICS, AND INFORMATICS,” and was attended by mathematics, physics, and informatics teachers from schools across the city.

The seminar was opened by the school principal, Mayra Umirzakkizy Saduova, who outlined the event’s goals and priorities and wished the participants every success.

The first part of the seminar—which was structured into four distinct stages—featured a presentation of the “Internal Code for the Responsible Use of AI,” covering two key thematic areas. Subsequently, students and subject teachers specializing in mathematics, physics, and informatics demonstrated various digital experiments within the context of practical and laboratory coursework.

The second part—dubbed the “Parade of Open Lessons”—continued with open instructional sessions conducted by M. Ersultanova (Mathematics), G. Zhumash (Physics), and A. Bimenova (Informatics).

The third part of the seminar featured engaging integrated activities spanning the fields of mathematics and informatics, informatics and mathematical literacy, as well as digital technologies and mathematics. During this segment, experienced and innovative educators—including S. Kypchakbayeva, A. Makhasheva, M. Ali, G. Ashimova, and A. Almaganbetova—shared their professional expertise and insights.

The fourth and final part of the seminar was dedicated to the visiting guests from other city schools. This session focused on “Emotional Intelligence as a Tool for Solving Teachers’ Professional Challenges.” To address this topic, school psychologist K. Bimuratova organized an engaging training session designed to refresh and enhance the teachers’ understanding of this vital subject. The seminar concluded with a master class titled “AL COMIC LAB,” led by the innovative educator M. Zhanabil.

Guests from local schools highly praised the seminar, expressed their gratitude to the staff of the educational institutions, and posed for commemorative photographs.
