16 days without gender-based violence
As part of the “16 Days Without Gender-Based Violence” event, Police Major Inabat Ishniyazova, Senior Inspector of the Kyzylorda State Police Department, and Aringzaeva Rudaba conducted outreach activities among girls in grades 8-11.
The girls learned about ways to prevent violence and their rights. They were given safety recommendations. If necessary, the students were advised to contact a school psychologist. Law enforcement officials informed the students that if they witness violence or become victims themselves, they should immediately report it to their parents, school administration, or the police. They also emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of mutual respect, understanding, friendly relationships, and peaceful resolution of all conflicts.
School psychologist B. Abieva led a discussion with the girls on the topic “Self-Esteem – the Key to Personal Development.”
