Let’s prevent destructive religious movements.
Our school organized a meeting with 9th-10th grade students on the topic “Preventing Destructive Religious Movements.”
The meeting was attended by Erkin Bainazarov, a theologian from the Center for the Study of Religious Issues and a member of the regional Department of Religious Affairs.
Religion is a very complex and important socio-cultural component of human society. However, in recent years, various foreign religious movements have become more common in our country, and following any of them is dangerous.
Article 174 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan clarifies that intentional actions aimed at inciting social, national, tribal, racial, ethnic, or religious hatred, insulting the national honor and dignity of citizens, or religious feelings, or producing literature or other media promoting religious hatred are subject to criminal liability.
The students were shown videos on the above topics.
