“Law and Order”
With the aim of preventing juvenile delinquency, an important preventive meeting was held at our school on April 29. The event was attended by M. Baltabayev, Chief of the Kyzylorda Police Department (Juvenile and Family Protection Unit), K. Zhubanazarov, a Police Officer from the same unit, and students in grades 8 through 10.
During the meeting—conducted within the framework of the “Law and Order” and “Safe City” projects—the importance of legal literacy, the consequences of bullying, and the necessity of adhering to legal norms were explained. Furthermore, one of today’s most pressing issues was examined in detail: internet safety, online bullying (cyberbullying), and threats perpetrated via fake accounts; effective methods for preventing such incidents were clearly outlined.
In addition, particular emphasis was placed on the need for students to:
avoid making contact with strangers;
refrain from disclosing personal information;
steer clear of suspicious web pages;
use social media platforms safely. Throughout the meeting, issues regarding safety in the online sphere—including the harmful nature of dubious online games, their impact on child psychology, and strategies for mitigating their risks—were discussed at length.
