News / December is the beginning of independence
On December 11th, our school held a roundtable discussion with 8th-grade “B” students on the topic “December – the Beginning of Independence.”
Goals:
– To explain the historical significance of the December events
– To strengthen love for the Motherland
– To praise heroism and patriotism
This prompted people to reflect and revisit one of the most difficult and important moments in the country’s history. The December events of 1986 were more than just an uprising; they were a manifestation of the Kazakh people’s desire for freedom and the spirit of the nation. The heroism of young people like Kairat, Lyazzat, and Erbol is an example for us, the next generation.
The students analyzed historical facts, assessed the contribution of the December events to the formation of independent Kazakhstan, and identified their educational value. Today we live in a free country. This is the fruit of that struggle. Therefore, understanding the value of independence and love for the Motherland is the civic duty of each of us.
Let our country be safe and our independence strong!
