The Unhappy Jamal
On November 3, a literary discussion session dedicated to the novel *Bakitsyz Jamal* by the Kazakh nationalist writer Mirzhakip Dulatov was held in the library of School No. 176, in collaboration with City Library No. 1.
Students from the 8th-grade “A” class participated in the event, sharing their thoughts on the novel’s themes and the social issues raised within it. During the discussion, the students gained a deeper understanding of M. Dulatov’s place and creative legacy within Kazakh literature, and were able to freely express their views.
Such literary gatherings foster students’ interest in reading and contribute to their spiritual and cultural development.
